The MyKartero® Story
Born from crisis, built with purpose — how MyKartero® became a voice for Filipino MSMEs in global logistics.
In 2018, over 6,000 export parcels from the Philippines were stranded in Singapore, putting the livelihoods of more than 2,000 MSME exporters at risk. Ms. Arlene Martinez, an international postal logistics expert and founder of MyKartero®, was tapped to resolve the crisis. Through swift action and global coordination, she ensured the parcels were delivered, protecting both the businesses and the international reputation of Filipino MSME exporters.
This experience revealed a deep gap in accessible, reliable, and MSME-friendly cross-border shipping solutions in the Philippines. From that urgent crisis, MyKartero® was born — a purpose-driven platform dedicated to solving these challenges with empathy, expertise, and innovation.
